Youth Community Choir
Voices on the Thames
Community Youth Choir began its
first season in September 2008, to conclude in its
first full concert performance spectacular
on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 2:00
pm at Second Congregational Church, 45
Broad Street, New London CT. Accompaniment
will be provided by Heather Joyner. Refreshments
will be provided after the concert.
Voices on the Thames Community
Choir sang at the Martin
Luther King Junior Trust Fund dinner at the Mystic Marriott in October.
Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Our next season's dates are 1/15/09

Our Mission:
The Mission of the Community Youth
Choir is to provide youth throughout New London county the opportunity
to sing,
achieve excellence, and encourage a life long passion for music and
singing.
Our Goals:
- Offer 2nd - 8th grade
youth, with musical potential,
the opportunity to experience treble - voice choir
- Provide our community with the opportunity to
support our youth in artistic
endeavors
- Explore a diversity of musical styles

Senior Choir, Junior Choir

Allyn Donath, Music
Director, invites singers in
grades 10 and above to join the adult choir. Young people sing
during the first part of worship service, and then join their classes
for the remainder of the service. Rehearsals are Thursday
evenings, 7:00-8:30 p.m., and Sunday mornings, 9:00-9:40 a.m. before
the worship service.
Junior Choir
Sandy Kress, Junior
Choir Director invites young
singers to join the
Junior Choir. Young people sing during the first part of the worship
service several times a year, both alone and with the Senior
Choir. Rehearsal is at 9:30 a.m. before the worship service.
